Merritt Waldon

When she bites her lip

When biting her lip

Regularly because of

The piercing

Cold chills down spin&

Heart beats like Keith Moon

Somehow climbed in to my chest

Her beauty impales me every time

She bites her lip

All the years I drank

All the years I drank

Only one form of alcohol ever really

Had the bite I cdnt refuse

Poisoned poem held captive by

The mad green fairy

My spirit forever stained by

Absinthe

In a dream about having electro convulsive therapy I bite

As the volts surge through

As the world Burns

On the broken heart of loves

Despair do I bite down

On swallowing all

The love I can
