Tortured
Left a mark on my upper arm
but look—
that dog was tortured
five years by people
People do way worse
for no particular reason.
He left his bite on me.
Shallow it drew
scarce blood.
After I scolded him verbally
he hung his tired head.
It never happened again.
I think he wanted to own me
now I'm his bitch.
