 "BITE 1"

One Bite is not enough.
Sometimes it takes two.
If not more
For to be ignored
Is a chore.

Like a whore
About to topple over
The globe
Like a cove
On the shoreline.

If love is blind
Then why do I mind
Only to find
Life is kind
To the wicked.

Like a hick up
In the pickup
Of my kick up
Into the limelight
Like a swan.

        "BITE II"

Once bitten,
Twice smitten
By a bite.
Which can be light
As a mite.

In spite
Of it all
We stand tall
And do not fall
Like a ball.

When I answer
To the call of my man
No matter how small
Like a doll
In the midnight hall.

I'm like a woman belle
At the dance
In the party
Of a mall
Like a Queen.
